Where are your walking tours offered?
Tours are offered in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Where do we go?
We generally we make 4 to 5 stops at different food and drink locations in the city.
Where do the walking tours meet?
Thursday – Saturday tours meet inside the Saint John City Market at the Charlotte Street [UT1] entrance.
Sunday Beer-unch meets at Big Tide Brewing, 47 Princess St.
Is there parking available?
On-street parking is limited to two hours on most Saint John streets. There is a full-day, HotSpot-enabled parking lot on Charlotte Street across from King Square South. Alternatively, parking is available at the Coast Guard site on Water Street, across from Market Square, for $2/hr. Parking is free on Saint John streets on Saturdays and Sundays.
How long is the tour?
Tours are between 2 – 2.5 hours in length.
How much walking is required on your walking tours?
Walking is at a slower pace with frequent stops, but does include some steep hills (we do try to avoid these as much as possible). We walk about 0.6 km (0.37 miles) on our walking tours.
When does the tour start?
Walking tours start between 11am and 2:30pm depending on the chosen tour.
How many people can go on a tour?
Walking tours have a minimum of 2 people and maximum of 16.
Custom tours are also available for large group events.
Do you have French tour guides?
We do have French guides available with advance notice, although on our regular walking tours if most of the party doesn’t speak French then the tour will be in English.
How much do tours cost?
Our tours are between $49+HST and $69+HST.
What's included?
Tour fees include your fantastic tour guide and all tasting fees.
Your tour fee does not include sales tax.
Do I need to give a gratuity?
They are not mandatory, but as our guides work very hard to provide a fantastic experience for you, gratuities are greatly appreciated!
Do you sell Gift Cards?
Yes! Gift Card amounts are set to cover the cost of our regular walking tours at $69 for 1, 2, and 4 people. Or you may choose your own amount.
Please note, a 15% New Brunswick harmonized sales tax will apply to all purchases.
Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
Tour tickets must be in advance. You can book online through the tour section of our site.
What is your payment/cancellation policy?
Tours may be cancelled with 48 hours’ notice for a full refund. No-shows will be charged full price. In the event that Uncorked Tours needs to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be provided. Service charges are non-refundable.
Is the tour weather dependent?
Welcome to Canada with all our seasonal weather glory! We go rain, snow, fog or shine so please dress appropriately. Although, we do provide rain ponchos and/or umbrellas for the rainy days. As we try to stay indoors as much as possible during the winter, we will be walking outside to each stop. Suitable and comfortable footwear is highly recommended.
Can we add a meal?
Our tours are timed to ensure that everyone gets to have a fantastic experience. As food samples are provided, we ask that you not order additional food on these tours. Eating a light meal beforehand is recommended, and you can always go back to any of the stops after the tour!
Do you accommodate food allergies?
We definitely do. Please inform us when booking your tour of any food allergies so we can let our partners know beforehand.
What if I don't like wine or beer?
It can be difficult to accommodate drink preferences on these tours. Generally, there will not be a different tasting option for those choosing not to sample. Your sample sizes are small, so we encourage you to try everything, keep an open mind and be a good sport!
Are there alcohol-free options?
Absolutely. All our walking tours have a non-drinking option, except the Port City Food Tour which doesn’t offer any alcohol. Participants can still enjoy the commentary, food samples and will be provided non-alcoholic beverages at each stop.

Group winery tours are a great option for private parties, corporate incentives, and offsite events. The Tour Team at Uncorked Tours works hard sourcing the best sites and options to make your event special. Here is some information for you to consider. Where are tours offered?
GROUP winery tours are available with a departure from Moncton. GROUP brewery tours are available with a departure from Fredericton. Wine, Beer & Cider tours can be arranged from Saint John and Moncton. You can also request other pick up and drop off locations when customizing your private tour.
Where do we go?
Your tour destination will vary based on how much time you have and which city we depart from. In some cases, you can request specific wineries or breweries when customizing your private tour. Generally we make three stops over the course of five hours. The Fredericton brewery tour makes 4 stops.
How long is the tour?
The standard winery and brewery tours are 5 hours long. We can increase or shorten this time based on your scheduling needs.
When does the tour start?
GROUP tours begin at 1pm unless otherwise requested.
How many people can go on a tour?
We can take as few as 8 people and as many as 100. Your group size will determine which stops we can make.
How much do tours cost?
The most important factor in determining cost is group size. For example, a private winery or brewery tour for 8 guests (minimum) is $1100 and for 24 guests is $2460. This price will change based on tour duration, number of stops, and guest count. Please contact us to request a tour quote for your group.
What's Included?
Your tour fee includes everything you would expect. Your transportation, your awesome tour guide, and all tasting fees. Your tour fee does not include sales tax or guide gratuities.
Can we add a meal?
Yes. You have the option of adding lunch or dinner on your tour, or having snacks made available on the bus. Uncorked Tours can provide you with a list of preferred caterers and pre-negotiated dining options, or we can work with your group to come up with something else just for you.
How do I make a reservation?
The first step is sending us a note requesting a private tour quote. Please indicate the date your would like to have a tour, your departure city and anticipated number of guests. Weekend dates fill up very quickly. If you are requesting a weekend (Friday evening, Saturday, or Sunday) date, we strongly recommend booking a minimum of 4 months ahead.
What is your payment/cancellation policy?
All group tours must be paid in full two weeks ahead of the tour date to confirm the booking. Cancellations more than 14 days before the tour will be refunded minus a 5% administration fee. This fee is the responsibility of the group leader. Cancellations less than two weeks before the tour are non-refundable.
What if I don't like wine or beer?
It can be difficult to accommodate drink preferences on these tours. As we are visiting the producers, generally only beer is available at breweries, and only wine at wineries. Your sample sizes are small, so we encourage you to try everything, keep an open mind and be a good sport. *NOTE: Beer contains gluten. If you, or one of your guests, has a gluten allergy you are strongly encouraged to avoid booking a brewery tour.
What if I can't drink alcohol?
Tour fees are based on a minimum of 8 participating guests. Once the minimum is reached, non-drinking guests can join the tour at a reduced rate. Generally, there will not be a different tasting option for those choosing not to sample, and samples may not be requested by those who have indicated they plan not to drink.
