 Guests of this year's Winter Wine Fest at Gillis of Belleisle have had a real treat. The inaugural NB Winter Wine Fest began last weekend with fierce competition from the Pond Hockey Tournament at Rockwood Park and the Superbowl. Visitors were invited to drink and eat their fill at the winery, and was it ever good! Look for this event again next year, and make your reservations early.  Beginning on February 23, the ICE tour will include a guided snowshoe/hike to the ice caves, a glass of hot mulled wine, a winery tour and tasting at Gillis of Belleisle Winery, and a special ice wine tasting of NB ice wines.  If getting out in the cold doesn't suit your fancy. Join me at East coast Bistro on Wednesday, February 12 for a 5-course menu of NB wine perfectly paired with the exquisite cuisine of ECB.
Tickets are $45 plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required, please call 696-3278.
